Melissa, Office Manager
One of the first people you’ll see when you walk into Fisher Family Dental is Melissa. Melissa joined the Fisher Family Dental team in March of 2024 and has been in the dental world for about a decade now. Melissa has a plethora of knowledge when it comes to all things dental. If you have any insurance questions, Melissa is your gal! She was born and raised in Mount Horeb, WI and has raised her 3 wonderful boys with her husband, Rod. Melissa enjoys shopping and catching some rays outside with a good book. Fun fact about Melissa is we refer to her as our “work mom” since she is always bringing us yummy treats and taking great care of our employees and patients!

I’ve been in the dental world for the majority of my career, and making patients feel like part of the family is very important to me.
In my spare time, I enjoy walking my Golden Retriever, spending time with my family and 2 beautiful grandsons.

In my spare time: I ride and show my horse, Blake. I am a mom of a wonderful 5 year old, Emily. So I am usually busy chauffeuring her to different activities. I love to read books. I love to go on walks, hikes, kayaking, etc. Basically, anything and everything outside. I love watching Wisconsin football.

Dream vacation: It is a toss up between somewhere in the mountains or somewhere on a beach.
I love dentistry because: I enjoy educating my patients about dental hygiene. It’s fun to teach my patients a new technique or a tool they could use to improve their home-care and gum health. But most of all, I really enjoy connecting and developing a lasting relationship with my patients. My patients become more than just patients. They become my friends or even like family. Friends and family I get to see every 6months or more! : )

I’ve been working in the dental field since 2005. I enjoy the teamwork and patient care at Fisher Family Dental. I can’t imagine doing any other job. Outside of work I enjoy gardening and lounging in the sunshine.
